Laser Hair Removal

Our State of the Art laser treatments are designed to give you the results you want, using the safest and most effective technology on the market. However, everyone is unique.

Traditional hair removal techniques, such, as shaving, plucking, waxing, and depilatory creams provide only temporary relief. Until now, the only recognized way to remove hair permanently has been by electrolysis. At BBESCS we offer a variety of laser systems that safely remove unwanted hair without damaging the delicate pores and structures of the skin.

At BBESCS we want to make you look and feel your best, and you want the assurance of knowing that you are getting the highest quality treatment there is. We offer fast, safe and effective laser treatments because your safety and comfort are our priority.

Client Testimonials

Electrolysis

Permanent hair removal is accomplished by directing a measured amount of electrical current into the natural opening of the hair follicle by means of an ultra fine instrument until the base of the hair root(technically known as the papilla) is effectively treated. This procedure causes gradual cell destruction impairing the ability of the follicle to produce hair.

An electrolysis treatment may result in a slight reddening of the skin. This is temporary and varies with individual skin types. Your electrologist will recommend post treatment care.

Candela Gentle YAG
(Laser Treatment for- Hair Removal and Wrinkles)
The GentleYag Laser creates of beam of high-intensity light that penetrates deep into the skin tissue where it delivers a controlled amount of targeted heat. Together, the long pulsed laser and the Dynamic Cooling Device offer optimal treatment with minimal side effects. Side effects usually last a few days. Permanent side effects such as, hyper-pigmentation, hypo-pigmentation or scarring are very rare.

What can I expect?

All laser treatments are done in office. You will be wearing protective eye wear to protect your eyes from the laser light. The technician will guide the laser to the treatment areas with a small hand held probe. A short pulse of cooling spray follows each laser pulse. Treatments could take a few minutes or as long as an hour. Depends on the area treated.
Some patients may feel some discomfort with the laser; some describe it as the snapping of a rubber band on the skin. For some a topical anesthetic may be used prior to treatment.

Treatments are performed every six weeks.

GentleLASE
(Laser Treatment for- Laser Hair Removal)
The GentleLASE system is a revolutionary long-pulsed high energy Alexandrite laser that emits a gentle beam of light that passes through the skin to the hair follicle where it is absorbed. The laser energy is transformed into heat, which destroys the hair follicle leaving the surrounding areas unaffected. Just like the GentleYAG a Dynamic Cooling Device further protects the skin during treatment where cryogen is sprayed onto the skin cooling the upper layers and providing patients with increased comfort.

Treatment Protocol

Depending on the amount of hair being treated, the procedure varies from patient to patient. Generally treatment will include:

• A test area will be done prior to the entire treatment. Full treatment may be done the same day or up to two weeks later. Depending on skin reaction.

• You will wear protective eye wear during the entire procedure.

• A small hand held probe will glide on the skin to deliver the laser light. A light spray of coolant will be felt just before each pulse.

• Most patients experience little discomfort. The degree of discomfort varies with each person, depending on his/her threshold. Topical anesthetic may be requested.

• The procedure can take as little as 10 minutes or up to an hour, depending on the area being treated.

What to expect after treatment

The treated area may become pink or red within 30 minutes of treatment; this may last from a few hours to several days and it is relieved with the application of ice, cooling gels or hydro-cortisone.
